ANTINEA BOLETSI

Is an artist based in Greece and Cyprus.

Antinea has a propensity to painting, reinforced by her life experiences. She aspires to connect people through her art, and it is entrancing to follow her in her journey.

Antinea is a contemporary artist who has lived around the world

and has been taught by renowned artists. Her approach to painting combines classical and impressionistic styles and is generally led by

the notion of primordial instinct. Landscapes, still life, and portraits are the most prominent genres amongst her oeuvre. Her iconography

is not by any stretch arbitrary as it may appear in style; it encapsulates her travels, her impressions, and her passions.

She is a true cosmopolitan. She studied in the U.S.A. and France. and is based both in the U.K. and Greece. She travels extensively.

Her landscapes of Olympia, Greece or the English countryside reveal an artist who feels Nature and discovers its beauties in every little detail with childlike enthusiasm and an impressionistic eye.

Still life paintings represent the “private life” of everyday objects,

not to reveal their secrets, but to remind us of the fact that, beyond their functional value, they fulfill everyone’s need for belonging.

Antinea’s focus on portraiture is all about reflecting the human spirit and captivating her model's inner state of being; like opening a window into the soul of her subject with the only means of a brush and paints. Antinea has an exceptional sense of inspiration, and she is fascinated by everyday events, people, and nature; she strives to capture their nuances and innermost world—their true essence. Her primary goal,

in her own words, is to draw the viewer into the core moment of each painting.
